Per my contact at ALPA national age 67 is in the immediate future, which will only kick the can down the road for a couple of more years.
Remember the pilot shortage was indirectly engineered by the very people who have the solution to the problem at their disposal.
Money, lots of it.
Directly from the people at CAMI is the 67 rule will not happen unless they can prove its medically beneficial. The raised it 5 years in 2007 for the majors to hire and train more people yet not one person was even hired. They are not happy about that.
