You have brought this up before, and I still am not sure what you're referencing. If that happened to you, that is very unfortunate, but it is something that can happen at ANY airline. I haven't seen evidence to backup what you are saying, but I'm not saying it hasn't happened. Here or anywhere else.
This was a while back, but all the key players are still there. A few captains had challenged scheduling and thus management in one way or another. Mysteriously, said pilots busted their very next SIM eval and were sent back to FO for six months. We are not talking one or two guys either. They also suspended or tried to suspend guys for calling fatigued or refusing to taxi the plane to the mx hangar in Indy after a trip. Either way, it sounds like the union will be taking this one out of the pilot's hands....and rightfully so.
