Yes, less than that, if chose so. Or work more and make more.
QOL, all about the options. I like time off, some likes money.
My first line I had 18 days off. (I dropped few days from the original line to go to minimum guaranteed). I swapped pairings to make it commutable. Using your format that would be 120 working days a year, after vacation/PTO.
With much more options to chose the days off than a NJ pilot.
I know your question was about commuting pilots, but to put things into prospective; now I live in base, I bid reserve and I fly an average of 4 days per month (rounded up from 3 something).
No, NJ is not even close. Without even entering the discussion of what you mean by "working".
