A:MAG flight ops management understands the value of long call reserve, especially in light of FAR 117. They have every incentive to properly apply long call reserve.
That is a BIG assumption. Mesa is going to do whatever is best for them and their staffing, not because there is "value" in long call. I just don't see the incentive, or we would have it now. I would say the more realistic answer probably is yes...

A: Neither Jonathan nor senior management has controlling interest in MAG any longer—it is controlled by a Board of Directors comprised of representatives of major shareholders. MAG is not his private piggy bank. Just like you, what he does with his salary is his own choice.

The whole MEC argument was that why not take the money now, because there isn't anymore down the road. My view is that for 30 cents an hour, I might as well just wait and see how the industry plays out over the next year.
Though if I vote yes, I could almost afford a new pack of gum every trip at the airport NBC store...
