In the US, transportation unions are un-fairly singled out under cold war era catch-all "national security" considerations. I say "unfairly" because other labor sectors affecting "national security"--- such as longshoreman aren't covered. To wit a crane operator at Long Beach harbor will typically make twice as much as the average regional airline captain. Time for the RLA to be declared nul and void. Time for US transportation unions and associations to step up and fight the RLA travesty.
It's under interstate commerce not national security. At least try to make your point make sense.
