Thanks for that input. For those on the outside looking in everything here at G4 is separated. Pilots across the board (on all equipment) can't really see what is going on in other bases or seats. In other words, as a MD80 FO in say? IWA I can't see anything in the scheduling or system except for myself and other IWA 80 FOs. Our software gives you the option of blocking your schedule so others can't view it as well. Hell, if your an FO you can't even see other CA's schedules in base either.
This also needs to be remedied with a contract.
Why does your "union" put up with that at all? That should have been gone a week after the vote.
There are certain parts of a contract that are required, and scheduling transparency is key to a lot of it, otherwise how can you as a pilot tell when the contract is not being followed, or even their company self proclaimed working rules.
There should be complete transparency on scheduling and upgrade and base awards, etc. It shouldn't be a negotiating point either, it's the way the pilots know what's going on.
AAG is sort of like Iran wanting to "negotiate" the ability of the parties to check for compliance and extract benefits just for providing the verification that they are not cheating.
