once the fence comes down (or sooner, if l-cal pilots don't bid it), the west coast 777 pilots will come over voluntarily. Whomever is unfortunate enough to be left on the 777 next summer will probably fly domestic transcons to Ewr, maybe with a Ewr-Lhr turn built in to 5 day trip. Don't rule out an additional city for the 777 to fly out of west coast. Point is, massive training is not necessary.
