Unless JO announces new flying soon, regardless of this vote (unless a landslide no results in a fairly quick TA2 that is more acceptable), a ton of FOs are going to bail and no one will show up for class except a few guys who live in PHX/IAH/DFW/IAD. This could turn real ugly real quick (which is why all this bad language in the TA can and will affect us). But the new flying he will announce will not be enough to stop the future bleeding IMO.
Quality of life is more important than pay alone, as it includes pay. Many are in fact better off leaving Mesa if the end result is that they are happier. My attitude is that I hate the "pilot lifestyle" and no amount of money will fix that. What will fix it however is an increase in days off, or living in base. Better work rules often is more important than actual pay. I'm only living paycheck to paycheck because I opt to save 1000$ a month.
