I don't think it's a conspiracy in any way. I just think it is an anomaly that on our DVR we report 100% more pilots in a base than what are currently bidding. I know this is why we are not doing any upgrades for 2 months. Question is, what are we doing to our present behavior for different results in the future? LCA's are hard to train and get on the line. I'm sure we have a pretty good chunk of the 400 Delta pilots swimming in the pool, not to mention the other airlines we are losing pilots too (Allegiant, United, UPS, ect..) So we stop upgrades for 2 months to catch up with FO's, but then we get behind on CA's. I know during the pay package votes SGU needed to say everything was fine so we didn't think we had any type of upper hand, but it would be nice for someone to acknowledge that we are behind. When nothing is said it seems like either you are hiding things or don't know. Either option is bad for our leadership.

There is no doubt we are planning on getting more flying. Either from someone losing it or other flying to be awarded. But I don't look at that as a good thing. I would love to be able to cover our current flying without running everyone at 110%. When that happens, I will be glad to see more flying coming our way.
