On a side note, I read that each pilot signs an individual employment contract. Does that not contain a training payback clause?
After the ALPA vote in April of 2014 no one hired after that signs a PEA (personal employment agreement). The company told those guys it wasn't allowed now that a union is on property. So management I guess send you an email explaining this and also that they will "honor" the current PEA, but to answer your question, no there is no training contract or anything.
