Ugh. The union guys need to get on the same page then. I listened to the call yesterday and I am, damn near positive, when the question came up about the headset bank, someone said it was tied in with the uniform bank and that the uniform bank is now $310 or something as opposed to $260.
My thoughts - while it sucks it's gone, it was kinda pointless to begin with. I've been here 2 years. I couldn't use it for another 4. *** knows if I'll be here by then. I don't know of many guys that used it and $300 is not buying you a legit nice headset to begin with.
I know everyone is ****ed about the insurance, but 2% is very minimal. As a single guy my PPO plan will increase literally $1.80 something a month. As for the guys who pays couple hundred, it's only $2-3 bucks.
The RSV rules sound much much better. I'll hopefully upgrade soon and I would love to, possibly, sit Long Call back home.
I know everyone wanted rates to go up, but it is what it is. The call yesterday made a good point. This thing can be opened back up in 1.5 years. By then, assuming we have new flying past '18, the hiring pool will be virtually next to nothing and that there would be extreme leverage.
It's a tough spot. If voted down I don't see us getting another TA at all. I could be wrong, but I just don't see it considering how long it took for this one.
