I finally did my first solo cx today. Good weather finally. Routing was KTPL - KAQO - KAUS - KTPL. It took 3 hours because I spent a while at LLano. It seems easy now. Even though I had a GPS, I had to pilotage because, the left side of the GPS which showed the map was inop, all I had was the heading info, ground speed etc. Got more familiar with using a sectional chart now. just waiting to fly my night flights, and moving on.
