Just out of curiosity, how long have you been at Allegiant?
There are a lot of problems, most of which can't be addressed in a contract. The other problem with a contract, once one is finally reached, is enforcement. Management has already proven they won't follow a binding agreement with the PWR, and those were pretty basic. What makes you think they will follow a contract?
How do you know a contract will be for much more money? Do you know what the negotiating committee is asking for? There's more to a contract than just pay rates. What about retirement? Insurance? Would you take less money to make those better? What about a scheduling system? PBS will never work, no matter what they call it, when there aren't enough pilots.
In the time since I left, I've written a lot of recommendation letters for people looking to leave, including for a few I barely knew. Even one of the management pilots I know is seriously considering leaving. Does that tell you anything about the operation??
