Thank you, VG. No, I don't work for Allegiant. It just disturbs me to see an airline managed into being a daily safety threat. So far, its only the efforts of the pilots that have kept Allegiant from numerous smoking holes in the desert/swamp and becoming synonomous with Valujet.
Before you start with these off the wall arguments please do a little research. And yes, you sound like an all too familiar management pilot that not a single pilot in the group respects. .
The reddest flag of all was the FAR incident. That illustrates that management is willing to throw the "emergency" flag where none exists to avoid the costs of a diversion. That and firing a Captain who very correctly evacuated an airplane with smoke in the cabin.
Safety appears to be lip service at Allegiant. That's why I actively encourage my friends and family to avoid Allegiant at all costs.
