You've got to play the odds and put them in your favor. If you're a Military guy find away and get the time. When you do that it says a lot in an interview. It's about experience and not Total time IMHO. Do you really need 4000 TT? If you have 3900 is something going to happen in that last 100 hrs? Of course not, it's just a number to weed people out. Nothing new here... Just like a College degree that some require. When you go for an interview you really have to know what they are looking for. Be the guy/gal that stand out in a good way as a person and a Professional Aviator. If you can do that everyone will hire you. You can short cut but in the long run go learn the Profession and let your Resume do the talking in an interview. You can't play the low percentage play and wear a "Yellow Suit" that's been done. Yellow tie is used in every interview group. Candy is always in play. I wish I could tell you guys it was a matter of knowing someone or something but it's not. It's a path and what did you learn? That's the key! BTW people aren't hired because the color of their suit or ties! It's the people wearing them. I've never seen so many nice employees at one Company. Spirit has them and continues to hire them!!! Good luck to all! I'm waiting for the "Yellow Hair guy"! That's what I'd pull or go Bald with painted "Bare Fare" on your head!! That will get S.F. attention in a second! Good luck to all!!!
