There is nothing wrong with a senior FA (think longevity) being paid more than a regional new-hire, period.
I have flown with TONS of FAs that quite literally just quit their last job having no clue what they wanted to do, and stumbled into being a flight attendant. Absolutely no relevant previous experience required.
You can't just quit your job at McDonald's and be an FO. Most of them have worked for years to get here at a regional. You're trying to make being a regional pilot seem like an entry level job, like something you do on summer vacation. Its not.
