It starts with having a CEO that started ValuJet. His refusal to put money into maintaining the airplanes and giving crews minimal training. There is a lack of investment into the safety culture here which was identical to what it was at ValuJet. Cheap contract maintenance constantly making huge mistakes is identical to ValuJet. An abnormally high rate of declared emergencies is identical to ValuJet. The only thing that G4 hasn't done is lost an airplane. Safety is a numbers game. When things that are supposed to happen very rarely are happening on a semi normal basis the odds of something catastrophic occurring become very high. Do a Wikipedia search and read the history of ValuJet before the crash. You'll be shocked at the similarities.
