And how much water will they need to carry to support 500 people cleaning their bums? How much does all that water weigh? How much fuel to carry that water?

You know, If weight and fuel are at the top of your list of concerns perhaps they should do it Middle East style? All you need is a small bowl of water that everyone uses to cleanse themselves after wiping their bums with their bare hand.
