Those will take over flying that other regionals are doing. It would not be hard to replace ALL of Air Wisconsin with 24 900's. It could also mean less flying for Republic or Mesa. With the reduction in routes at other carriers, look for layoffs and FO's looking for regional jobs.
For PSA, the plan is to try to poach FO's from other regionals by offering them a quick upgrade to the left seat. Many will upgrade in 6 months once they come to PSA. This is something that is a pretty important recruiting point.
AAG has more or less taken over the recruiting for all of the wholly owned airlines. They have plans on what they will do when they start having a difficult time attracting new pilots. There is a list and a plan and with it, they will be able to attract new pilots to all of the WO'd.
Piedmont is not growing, nor is Envoy. Other than attrition, there is no need to attract new pilots. PSA is the one that needs to grow.
How you come to the conclusion that pdt is not growing?
