Interviewing next week, gouges read (though no doubt they'll ask other questions!) -I'm mostly concerned about bases, ideally LAX but SEA as a second, for purely personal reasons. How senior are they, and how hard to get out of training?

LAX is shrinking and SEA is pretty senior. Right now both would in theory take less than 6 months to get, but if your timing is bad or things ever slow down those are typically two very senior bases. When I was hired the most junior FO in SEA was over 6 years. Now it dropped down to less than 6 months.
Have you looked at Compass? Those bases are both junior over there.
