Anybody notice this little snippet:

8.c.2.h.vi. On-property sleep rooms are not guaranteed to pilots who cancel Company-scheduled hotel rooms (e.g., IND day rooms).

The way I read this is; the pilots transitioning INDY, on the night hub turn, can cancel their hotel room, collect $35 into their Hotel bank and take a sleep room (although not guaranteed)!

Here lies the problem - most of the crews getting hotels for the turn in INDY are the ones that arrive earlier than the crews that do not get a hotel room. If this TA passes, they will be able to cancel their hotel room and take one of the few sleep rooms available (rooms are first come first serve).

The crews that don't have a scheduled hotel room could be left without a sleep room under this TA!
