Validity of topic? You're argument is purely against envoy pilots. All of the sudden RP pilots are who you are trying to protect? Your concern is laughable. You don't give a rats *** about RP pilots or any other regional pilot. You simply want to watch envoy burn.

Follow this idea to it's ultimate conclusion: If one airline does this, then others will follow suit as the limited supply of pilots jumps from one airline to another. Soon, they'll be almost no one at first year pay unless fresh out of CFI university. RJ's become increasingly expensive to operate thus sending more flying back to MAINLINE. More RJ CA's get hired at said mainlines, more RJ FO's upgrade, etc.

So you're saying you don't want RJ pilots to move on to mainline jobs? Way to look out for their career. You're a real savior!

This idea is a pipedream anyways. I doubt management will sign off on it as long as they can fill classes with 1 year pay new hires. Maybe once that pool truly dries up, they will float this idea.

Topic aside, your reputation is well known on other message boards. You have nothing good to say about envoy or it's union.

Ever.

You're pretty smart and write very skillfully but you have a one track mind and one goal: to watch envoy fail and our union reps with it.

This entire industry is a pyramid/Ponzi scheme. People don't upgrade without new hires to replace them. People don't get off reserve without people to take their place below them.

Get a life, TL.
