(That pay 18.0, sometimes more).
Point of fact:
A 94:00 TAFB trip pays min guarantee of 22:23.
See section 4.C.1.c.
[i]One hour’s flight time credit for each 4.20 hours’ elapsed time away from his base[\i]
I get the message our trips aren't as productive as they should be, though there is a better way to say it than your example.
On that topic: We all want 22+ credit on a 4 day. Some of us are willing to fly 22+ hours to get the credit (5:30 a day as an average, regardless of whether we have a min day or still have some 'averaging', which is a different discussion), while others want the 22+ credit, but feel flying that kind of schedule leads to a 'fatiguing, Southwest or regional type schedule'.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the company's resistance to the first group will be lower than to the second (though, with the way our operation works flying 'out-station to out-station', it's harder than you think to block 5:30+ a day for 3-4 days in a row). Are you willing to block 5:30+ for 4 days in a row in order to get 5:30+ a day in pay?
