Not sure if you are making a general statement or asking me a question personally. It was md83 that mentioned holding CA in 8 months. I've never indicated on this forum whether I am a CA or FO. I'll give you a hint, when I was hired it was a 6 year upgrade, my class could have held upgrade at about the two year mark, and my class could have held AB CA at the 3 year mark. So what does my prior AB experience have to do with the fact that we have great pilots over here? Many of whom, as indicated on this thread, use their emergency skills much more often than any other airline pilot.
