Still NO. It seems like the company and the Union just keep repeating the same ridiculous arguments to us. Stop me if you've already heard "this LOA wasn't intended to be a financial windfall for anyone" or "pilots already pay for private school in the U.S." Or my favorite, "STV isn't intended to involuntarily send pilots to these FDA's for 3 months at a time. We think it'll go senior." Can't wait for the MD-11 FDA in Mumbai to open up, I suppose that'll go senior too.
If the company truly wants FDX pilots doing this flying, they (and the union) could have done better than this. Nobody's looking for a financial windfall, just something to maintain the status quo. Oh yeah, and have the option of giving our kids an education.
