Council 44 Members,

As you are well aware by the blitzkrieg of emails, including mine, the nomination process is in full swing.

I want to take another moment to distinguish myself from the other candidates.


I voted NO, STATUS QUO on TA 2015.

I voted IN FAVOR of the motions to RECALL Council 44 Officers.

RESTORATION is in my vocabulary.

ORANGE adorns my crew bag.

I SUPPORT our new MEC Chairman, Captain Malone.

I IDENTIFY with Captain Malone’s philosophies about REPRESENTATION, REFORM and ADVANCING THE PROFESSION.

I have NEVER BEEN ASKED TO RESIGN NOR SUBJECT TO RECALL while volunteering with ALPA.

I BELIEVE in the ‘bottoms up’ approach to representation. My CONVICTION to that principle is not subject to conflict nor compromise.

We are not rocket surgeons, morons nor gender referenced anatomical “whiners”. The way I see things we are no longer North or South and even D. P. A. shares commonality with A. L .P. A., which is, of course, P ILOTS. If nominated, I know whom I represent, the Delta Air Lines pilot.

Let us not succumb to politicism shaping our decisions in an attempt to counter strategies promoting a split vote. In doing so, we most assuredly will find ourselves in the exact same situation we are valiantly trying to change. Stay engaged! Stay involved! Stay informed! If Captain Malone is to have a fighting chance at success, he will need the support of the most ardent individuals to progress the change. RESOLVE to vote for those candidates. We have made ourselves known.

Finally, for those of you who have voted for me or are considering voting for me, thank you! Please keep the feedback and questions coming. I will be attending the meeting on the 28th.
