Seems flight cancellations are on the rise again. Republic had recently asked to give some flying back to mainlines and that seemed to reduce the amount of cancellations for a time but they are back up again.

At this point it may be best to have a quick visit through bankruptcy in order to dump Delta altogether. That way United and American can better be served.
