Depends on how much experience you have. I think the norm right now is around 4,000 hours. Due to our business model, commuting will be extremely difficult. Most of the time our slow days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The company has absolutely no desire to add enough folks for better schedules. As a junior person you'll be on reserve on either Tuesday or Saturday batting cleanup for all the rescue flights needed from the day before. We basically fly the FAR's right now. So if you don't live in base, and your not willing to relocate, it will get old fast. And if you do live in base, you could still find yourself in a TDY situation, where your $1.00 per diem, will ensure you gain 5lbs. of fat per month.

As a pilot, you will be held to a higher standard than anyone else in the company. Meaning, there are no systems in place so if you miss an MEL or a NOTAM you and your captain will be explaining yourselves.

Please don't take my response as negative, or as trying to dissuade you from coming here, just have your eyes wide open.

Good Luck
