From Air Transport World, Sept 22, 2015:

Republic Airways, pilots to meet with NMB on new contract.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) and Republic Airways will meet with the National Mediation Board (NMB) for the second time this week to discuss a new pilot contract.
The deal would cover almost 2,100 aviators at Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, the union told pilots in an email Sept. 21.
The meeting on Sept. 24 will come eight days after the union and the company met with NMB mediators in Washington. According to a union email, the IBT presented mediators at the first NMB session with its counterproposal to the airline’s last-best-and-final offer, which the regional carrier unveiled in August. The IBT also gave the NMB an estimate as to the cost of its proposal. The mediators then presented that offer to the company, and the two sides discussed it with mediators present, the union told pilots.
Reached after the Washington session, IBT Local 357 President Jim Clark declined to comment. The company did not reply to requests seeking comment.
Previously, Republic has said it would not negotiate from its final offer. VP-human resources Matt Koscal told ATW’s sister publication Aviation Daily in August that the pilots were going to have to vote on the company’s proposal, or the airline might seek a court-ordered restructuring.
“A last-best-and-final offer is exactly as it is defined,” Koscal said. “Our pilots are going to have a make a determination on its merits.” However, the union has refused to permit pilots to vote on the offer and has shown no signs of changing its stance.
