Capt. and F/O pay rates will be of interest of course, but how many pay hours do crews average per month?
Reserve = ?
Lineholder = ?
Paid accommodations during training for new-hires?
Do any duty and trip rigs ever kick in or factor much during an average month?
Currently- 1st year is a 75 hour month min @42/hr. After first year monthly min is 70. Reserve is min unless you fly more. Lines are all over the board from 70-85+ hours.
There is no paid hotel during training. Most multi day trips are paid on rig.
The current rig is so low it doesn't bother the company to let you sit at a hotel for a full day and dead head you home on the last flight home from Dallas to MSP because it doesn't cost much to do so. Hopefully the new trip rig will pay more, so at least if you sit you will be paid more.
