I think this a great opportunity for some young kid to get to totally bypass regional hell and go strait to a major as long as he has the proper funding. Hopefully this program will be successful and be the forerunner for bringing in MPL to the USA. This would help greatly in alleviating the pilot shortage and ensure a supply of properly screened, trained and indoctrinated pilots for the majors. These kids don't deserve to be tainted by the bad attitudes and flying habits of many regional lifers that they would otherwise have to endure without this Gateway program or MPL.
