Because every one of us should have the opportunity to vote on a contract that effects each one of us. But you can't rewrite history and you can't deny facts. Our elected MEC voted 10-4 in favor of a TA our NC negotiated with the company. We have every right to reject it. But at the point, we own the delay in getting a new TA negotiated and ratified. The company has obviously been dragging its feet. But they eventually came to an agreement with our union. If you don't think they will remind the NMB of that fact every time we demand a "CONTRACT NOW!" I think you are overestimating their good nature.
