Also have you looked at the seniority list for SLC? Most of the super super senior FOs are based in SLC. If the most senior FO in SLC (#299 at the entire company) upgraded to SLC (captains are never awarded transfers into SLC) then he would be bidding #124 in SLC. No where near #3. If they don't need the income and never plan to leave Skywest then I kind of understand why they wouldn't want to take that kind of seniority hit.

I've seen two captains transfer into SLC the entire time I've been at the company. It hardly ever happens so those senior FOs would be forced to upgrade somewhere else and commute.
