I should have mentioned Virgin America as well, even if they don't like us former helo pukes. I understand they are military friendly.
The same place anybody should. Closets to home first, easiest commute second, commutable third, relocate last.
With his creds he just needs to get current, after that he'll go legacy before he finishes probation is my guess.
There are plenty with east coast bases. They're all hiring. Pick something close to home. It's a pilot's market. No need to chase a regional job across country.
