The airline that I am at seems to stay at IHG branded hotels a vast majority of the time. I realize that I will not get the points for most of my stays but understand IHG proporties will give you a stay credit. That being said, I am in need of a new CC that does not have foreign transaction fees. With the IHG CC is says that you get platinum status along with your standard bonus point blah blah. Does anyone have any experience as to wether that makes any difference when you are actually out on the road when the company is the one footing the bill? Any other suggestions of good ones to get?
