You will hold larger aircraft and left seat much sooner in EWR. The surrounding state is an absolute dump though. I chose EWR for the career advancement and quick seniority, but had to move a little over an hour away to find a place I wanted to live.

Don't forget cost of living within 200 miles. You'll need that advancement just to pay the taxes and tolls to live there.
