Go read freunds cross of your "third lister" (pages 419-431) to grab a clue where that argument will end up.
Well, that's the first problem. You're going by hear say. When you get the language, read it. It's written in elementary school languageo and is very clear. As far as merging, our two companies merged "systems," not "pilot seniority lists." So yes, I acknowledge that we've merged. Just waiting on a merger of seniority lists...period of when "separate operations" (as also stated in TA9) become one. So this backs up the argument of two seniority lists, not three. No "Third list." I understand that pilots hired after the "merger date" are to be junior (no one is arguing that). What they are trying to get across here is that junior pilots still make up an East or West Seniority List. (Mostly East List bc West has not hired new pilots until recently). That's called "company of origin). These new pilots bring jobs unlike our friends over at Eagle or pilots who were on furlough for many years. These junior pilots are getting placed junior to pilots who have not even worked at mainline (East, West or AA). So understandably they want to be recognized as an East or West Pilot. Not some stupid "third list" that doesn't even exist.
