Unless the industry competition diminishes and the over-supply of pilot labor is reduced, there isn't likely to be much change. While it makes for great theatre writing tough on an anonymous blog board, the market forces unleashed by the ADA of 1978 do control. Individual class labor has very little to do with it at this point in time.
Tell us there captain, were you a lap dog or did you actually try to do something to fix the problem? I'm betting you had one of the worst contracts of the industry and maybe on par with the regionals.
You want to call the current pilots children, preach doom and gloom. What is it you expect to get out of the constant degrading of the pilot group. It's likely you miss the Lorenzo days or the friends of Fred telling you what and how to think. You're retired!
You seem to hide under the same anonymity you detest.
