Untrue. Smisek traveled all around the system trying to sell snake oil. But I do get your 'of substance' qualifier... The only difference so far is that we don't know if Munoz's words are pure crap yet...just like Smisek circa 2010. FWIW, I don't know if Munoz has admitted making mistakes....he admits UAL made mistakes, but that was before he took over (sound familiar?).
As I said earlier, my job conduct won't change until UAL changes. There are no WORDS that will persuade me, no pleas for loyalty, no rally cries for 'the good of the company', or rhetoric about focusing on the future and ignoring rear view mirrors. I'm a reasonable, big picture guy - but UAL management 'created' me over past decade plus, so now they have to deal with it.
I'll continue to do my job and enforce my contract as I have been doing.
