I feel bad for him. If he had any real connections with family or friends in his personal life he wouldn't feel the need to spend 4 or 5 hours a day on a regional airline thread, trying to win a war of words no one cares about, trying to be a hero and save everybody when no one cried for help. If he had children or grand children he would be at sporting events, practices, or performances. If he had a significant other he would be out vacationing or doing projects around the home or going out to eat or see a movie. If he had friends he would be on the golf course or at the stadium or the bar. The most logical explanation I can think of as to why any grown man in his 50s would waste a quarter of his waking hours in his remaining life left on a regional airline Internet forum arguing with people half his age is this, he has no one to share his life with. No one calls, no one texts. All he has is us. So the next time he posts something negative again, remember, he is hurting inside. He is projecting the misery of his existence onto the screens we all read. APC is his journal, we are his life. So let's all help him have a good one. Throw him a smile from time to time.
