I'm reaching pretty far back here, but I don't seem to recall anyone suggesting that they wanted the DSA value cut by 50%.

Agreed. Along with many people deriding the fact that the DSA bank evaporated at retirement, I also recall others saying their knee was stiff after replacement... Regarding percentage I heard many numbers.. I'm just saying that it seems our current TA discussion appears to have completely forgotten all those previous thoughts..
