I m disappointed about a few things but I sure am not bitter.
My travel benefit hasn't really been diluted, and I still have access to jetnet so not sure what that's all about. I was enjoying both services just minutes ago.
So your answer is basically you are trying to save sheeps like me, and future new hire sheeps, by trying to herd us in the right direction and toward a better future ? Fine, I'll buy that. Why do you want and care to do so ? Since you are willing to "help" then what should someone like me do ? Bail at 100 short of upgrade ? Make a useless lateral move ? Go to a lcc that I don't really care for ? Keep harassing the few corporates I like ? I hope you have better and more efficient advices then that because none of us need that kind of help.
Save you ? Where on God's green Earth did you ever get that idea ?
I consider pilots like you beyond hope and that would be a waste of my time. I don't think anyone is going to change you or your rock-throwing compadre's minds. It's those minds that are still evaluating a career decision I'm targeting. They don't have to (and shouldn't) take everything I say as gospel, but should balance it out with the other info out there and determine what passes the 'sniff' test. Then, whatever decisions they make, it will be one they can take responsibility for. That's why I recommend
Eaglelounge and in fact,
TalkAirline as it they are excellent sources to see what really is going on at Envoy and what some of there pilots are really saying. Some do understand the tenuous nature of the situation and rightly are critical of the salesmanship in progress by a misguided few and question that.
