From what I've been told, the "competitive mins" have come down quite a bit. Not too long ago the average interviewee had 6-6500TT, plenty of multi-pic and 121 experience. Now it's down to 3500-4000 on average. If you're interested, definitely go to a fair/meet and greet and don't worry about your time unless the biggest thing you've flown is a Seminole.
As far as working conditions, listen to both the good and the bad on here. Both views are spot on. Allegiant is like multiple little airlines. Your life as a AB pilot on the east coast is vastly different then say OAK which is different then being a FO on the 80 in LAS which is different then IWA... Yes, I know you could say the same about any airline but it's crazy here. What aircraft and base you're on/in is the difference between night and day.
I've been here for quite some time. I've been based as far east as you can go, as far west and points in between. I've been senior and lived a work life better then I could have ever imagined and have been thrown down with the maggots trying to keep the shotgun barrel out of my mouth. You have questions, feel free to ask. I'll give it to you straight.
