Well let me give you a piece of advice.....you need to learn patience in this biz. You have a CFI and will build the time faster than you think. I on the other hand never got a single commercial and it took me 13 years to get to 1500hrs but I enjoyed every second getting here. The new generation of pilots "want it now" and that mentality is not necessarily a good think. With time comes experience and I truly believe that 1500hrs is a great benchmark. You're still low enough in TT that you yearn for learning and experience, but yet you have seen patterns evolve in flying and seen things that can kill you. As others have said, be thankful that it's 1500hrs and not 2500+ like it used to be. Great Lakes should be avoided at all cost if you value your life and certificate.
