Thanks for the info. Anybody venture a guess on what the hiring environment might look like for a retirement date of summer 2018? Obviously anything can happen, but from reading different threads it seems like it should still be fairly good. Not sure how much the majors are frontloading hiring for anticipated retirements.
Who can predict the next 9/11, global financial meltdown, black swan, etc, etc? Don't lose too much sleep worrying over what you can't control.
