As far as the PITA factor, the people to get angry at are the members who abuse sick leave and drive the creation of policies to stem it.
That is my point - I saw the Dr. twice! With our current plan I can verify my illness. Under the TA I can not and that would require a Dr. visit just for a cold.
So going to the Dr. is not a big deal for you - fair enough, it is a big deal to me.
You know what is not a big deal to me - flying under C2012 as long as it takes. Whether that is three more months or three years - no biggie.
