If someone was to start in a class rumored to begin on 14 Nov, approximately how long would training last? I ask because I am pretty sure I'll be in that class, and I just sold my house. I have to be out by Jan 31st, and am trying to make plans for house hunting and moving dates. Luckily the AF still owes me one final packout and I'll have someone at the house to handle that for me. I assume I would be out of training before the end of Jan, correct?
In case you aren't already aware, you can get up to 12 months of NTS (Non-temporary storage) with a military retirement order. (It can be extended too with certain restrictions.) That can be very beneficial for your current uncertainty. That's what I did when I retired. Put all our stuff in NTS and rented a furnished place until I had certainty where I needed to be.
