That's true, and I agree with you...but there's that one variable that could change that, and that's the economy or some kind of security issue that affects the industry negatively.

Also, don't forget to mention the comment about expanding internationally. LAX and DFW specifically, the real push for growth is more international flying. A new route every 9 months they say.
Right now, so long as the regionals provide their product, this management team is almost entirely focused on international growth.

The guy leading the FOS project is confident about the Sept 2016 single FOS, who clearly knows more than Kirby. In fact, if I recall correctly he said it will be done April 2016 and then five months of testing...so conceivably if all goes well, it could be done earlier but Sept 16' gives them enough slack room.
I've heard the same timeline too...the programming will be done spring of 2016, but they don't want to let it go live and have it crash in the middle of the summer flying season.
