It depends. Are you going to have a currency issue? You're going to have to DO SOMETHING to get current. It's been covered A LOT in the military section as far what can be used to get current again.

Delta publishes the average times of the various demographics that they've hired thus far. AGAIN, those are "averages". You'll ALWAYS have those that re BELOW those time as well as those ABOVE. Hence, and "average". Because SOMEONE is gonna chime in with the "well I know a (insert platform here) guy that got hired and he only had (insert less than the "average" here) hours!!!!!!!!"

Well no **** sherlock, it's an "average".

Since 2014, the "average" total time for a mil pilot was 3119, for 2015 YTD it's 3041, for the month of Sept it was 3192.

But do you have other boxes checked? IP/EP, safety, etc etc etc?
I have the "got non volunteered to fly drones for five years just got back in the cockpit a year and a half ago" box checked which I don't think is good...hence I'm probably going to have to spend a year or two in the regionals. I'm just a regular old AC, and won't have upgraded to IP by next June.

I will have a ATP rating and either a 737 or King Air type rating by March of next year though. I'd do that now but I'm deployed til February.
