I predict the company tries to negotiate a first year pay raise or starts giving out bonuses starting this spring/summer. There is no way they will be able to staff based on current conditions. With this flow passing, it will still take a new hire 12+ years to get to American. The word will get out and the flow will not help with attracting new hires.
The fact that regionals including PSA will not be able to hire is good news. The quicker regional airlines go away, the quicker you move on up the ladder elsewhere. Not only will the flow fail, but it will fall hard on its face. Again all good things in the long term.
